Mo Willems is a favorite author, and three of his picture books are available as animated shorts on DVD. The books included are Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, Knuffle Bunny, and Leonardo the Terrible Monster.
Since Mo has won numerous awards for his picture books and he worked for years animating segments for Sesame Street, it's a good bet these videos are spec-tac-u-lar. (Not that I'm biased or anything.)
