American Revolution Interactive Lessons

I haven't played with these, but they look promising.  These are interactive lessons on the American Revolution.  For example, the directions say "Click on Boston."  When students do they are presented with information about Boston.  After clicking on "Next Lesson" students are asked to "Click on Lexington and Concord, just to the west of Boston."  Student then asked, "Who won the battle?" and given two choices - American or British.  The lessons continue in this way.

From what I've seen they aren't super shiny and they don't have too many bells and whistles, but it might just be that little bit different needed to engage certain students.

While these could be independently done, they would work as SMARTboard lessons as well.

These interactive lesson are from the website Teaching American History which is full of historical documents, audio, lesson plans, and much more.
