Sign Up Genius

Now THIS is something that I think classroom teachers can use.  It's not a project or curriculum resource, but useful nevertheless.

Sign Up Genius allows users to create sign up sheets for things like field trips and classroom parties.  After creating the sign up sheet, you can keep an eye on who is signing up and what items still need people.  Forms could be created for chaperones on field trips, party supplies and snacks, or even conference times.  Invitations to the forms can be done by emailing a contacts list or simply sending a link to the form.

Here are some examples:

School Fall Festival
Snack List for the Soccer Season
Family Potluck

Again, thanks to Free Tech 4 Teachers for the suggestion.
